Carold H. (Greenlaw) Thibodeau, age 74, wife for 49 years of Henry J. Thibodeau, formerly of Lynn, died early Tuesday morning in the Lahey Clinic Burlington.
Born, raised and educated in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Viola (Jedrey) Greenlaw. Following her graduation from Lynn English High School, she worked as a QC inspector in the elctronics industry retiring from Siemens Medical. She was a devoted and loving mom dedicated to her family. Mrs. Thibodeau enjoyed planning family activities, and celebrating the holidays, especially Christmas. She also looked forward to the annual family apple picking trip to Kingston, NH.
Mrs. Thibodeau enjoyed arts and crafts, quilting, and painting. She had been awarded the First Place Ribbon for Senior Amateur Artist two years in a row at the Topsfield Fair.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children: Laura Gaudet and her husband Robert of Peabody, Michelle Legere and her husband Rick of Swampscott and U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sergeant Kenneth J. Thibodeau and his wife Chong of Germany, a brother, Arthur Greenlaw of Maine, two sisters: Sandy Robideaux of Fiskdale and Audrey Bunker of Maine, six grandchildren: Tracy and Michael Gaudet, Adam Thibodeau, Daniel, Nicole and James Legere, one great grandchild, Samantha Emerzian, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Arlene (Greenlaw) (Harvey) Tardiff.
Visiting hours for relatives and friends will be on Sunday from 2 to 4 P.M. in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., (corner of North St) Salem. A private funeral service will be held on Monday.
