Carol Ann (Toulouse) Caruso, age 61, wife of Chuck Murphy of Swampscott, died early Friday morning at home.

Born in Barre, VT the daughter of the late William and Ann (Cusick) Toulouse, she was raised in Northfield, Vermont. Following her graduation from Northfield High School she became employed in the banking industry. During her career, Carol Ann was employed at several banks including Marblehead Trust, Fleet Bank in Marblehead, Heritage Bank (now Salem 5) in Salem and as a Branch Manager of Shawmut Bank in Lynn and Marblehead.

Carol Ann was a dedicated mother and grandmother enjoying her precious time with her family. She also enjoyed crafts of all types, floral design, reading and doing crossword puzzles.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter Suzanne and her husband Paul Biscaia of Salem; two grandchildren Erin and Paige Biscaia of Salem; a sister Phyllis Ashey of Lebanon, NH and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother Fred Toulouse.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a memorial Mass to be celebrated with Carol Ann's family on Saturday July 14th at 11:00 A.M. in St. John the Baptist Church, Peabody.
