Carol Kirn Borowski, a resident of Salem, MA, passed away on Friday April 3, 2020 after a brief
illness at the age of 73 in Salem, MA.
Carol is survived by her 3 children, James Borowski and his wife Tammy of Las Vegas, NV; Mark Borowski and his wife Paige of Honolulu, HI and Suzanne Rivers and her husband Bill of West Boylston, MA. Her brother, John Kirn and his wife Judy of Exeter, NH. Her Grandchildren
Shelley, Jessica, Mackenzie, Nick, Cameron, Bailey, Jake, Amanda, Holly and great grandchildren Landon, Charlotte, Lucien and Audrey, Including many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. As well as countless friends who will miss her spirit and infectious
laugh. Carol was preceded in death by her husband Robert "Butch" Borowski and her parents John and Nanette Kirn.
Carol was born on October 14, 1946 in Claremont, NH. She was a graduate of Marblehead High School and Bay State College. Carol worked for various small businesses as a bookkeeper and at Coffin Elementary School as a librarian in Marblehead. After retirement she enjoyed working
as a caregiver for several families children. Carol was a devoted and loving wife and mother who loved to get the family together however
she could. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends at Lake Winnipesaukee. She loved causing trouble with her Midnight Marauder crew and traveling the world with her friend Michelle, all while drinking wine as Jimmy Buffet played in the background.
Carol was always looking for a good time and good chocolate. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Carol's name to her favorite charity, Fisher House of
