Van Riper, Cameron (Cam) Matthew, age 26 passed away unexpectedly on November 18, 2022. Cameron was born in Malden, MA on July 9, 1996. Cameron was the loving son of Michael R. Van Riper and his wife Amalia I. Van Riper of Little Falls NJ. He was the devoted and loving grandson of Kathy Van Riper of Salem. He also leaves behind his mother Jane Barton of Colorado, Nana Phyllis Barton of Saugus and Great Grandmother Mary Bradley of Malden. His friend and mentor Brian Nagle of Salem. He was the older brother of Kasey L. Gordon of Haverhill, Michael R. Van Riper II and Oliver M. Van Riper of Little Falls NJ. He leaves behind his Uncle Matthew Van Riper and partner Erica Gabbianelli of Stonham, MA. His best friend and cousins Billy, Hannah and Claire Williams his Auntie Sarah and uncle Bill Williams from Saugus, MA along with several aunts, great aunts, uncles and cousins from Massachusetts to New Jersey.

Cameron was a welder and fabricator at Ramsay Metal Fabrication in Woburn. Cameron loved his work and hoped someday to open his own business.

Cameron was smart, funny and had a love for life. He was a music collector, loved going to concerts and his music range was from Frank Sinatra to Heavy Metal. His laugh and wit were contagious and his conversations were deep and intelligent. He loved to buy cloths and always made sure his shirts and hats matched. He had a style of his own and took pride in his appearance. Cameron loved his family and he was loved by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother Janis L. Hanson
