Bridgit Lee (Grimes) McKeough, age 39, of Middleton, died unexpectedly in Lahey Clinic Burlington.
Born in Beverly the daughter of Jacquelyn (Garvey) Grimes of Peabody and the late Edward Grimes, she was raised in Salem. For three years, Bridgit attended at Essex Agricultural and Technical School where she pursued what has been a lifelong passion of animals. She then returned to and was graduated from Salem High School For several years she had worked with animals at Richardson's Dairy in Middleton until her liver illness .
With tremendous gratitude to her brother's liver donation, Bridgit's life was enhanced and she has owned and operated Clipper Cottage for the past 10 years,
Bridgit is survived by a daughter Danica Gage and her father David Gage of Middleton, three brothers Edward Grimes of Swampscott, Jon Paul Grimes of Marblehead, and Anthony Grimes of Salem, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister Tammy Grimes.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday evening, October 24, 2012, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St, (cor of North St) Salem to be followed by funeral services at 7:00 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, his family request memorial contributions be made to the Bridgit Lee McKeough Memorial Fund, c/o Marblehead Bank, Cummings Center Office, 100 Cummings Center, Suite 101-F, Beverly, MA 01915.
