Bonnie ( nee Everling) Strong, We have lost a warm and loving human being; cherished spouse of Pat Johnson, loving mother to Julie Strong and her significant other Geoff Harris, wonderful friend of Ilene and Marie, Carol and Maureen, Diane and many others. Survived by a sister and brother-in-law Peggy and Steve Riordan and former husband Bob Strong. Director of Abbot Public Library in Marblehead from 1995-2008, where she introduced widespread use of computers for he staff. Also led successful planning and implementation of "Marblehead Reads", a town-wide reading program featuring In the Heart of the Sea.
A gathering of relatives and friends will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2009 from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Hawthorne Hotel, 18 Washington Sq, West, Salem during which a Celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 P.M.
