Bong Thi Nguyen, 75, of Salem MA, passed away on June 26, 2019, at Salem Hospital, with her family by her side.

Born on October 3, 1943, in Thanh Hai, Vietnam, to Nguyen Van Suu and Nguyen Thi Hanh,, she came to the United States seeking a better life for her family.  Through her tireless efforts and hardship, she raised 6 children in Salem, MA.  She was a great cook, who enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She was also a devoted parishioner at St. James Church.  Her selflessness and exuberant personality would light up any room.  She will be missed but her memory will stay in our hearts.

She is survived by: her husband, Anthony Ngo; her daughter Sen Ngo and her husband Ngoc of Salem, her son Bao Ngo of Salem, her daughter Thuy Gill and her husband John of Salem, her son Can Ngo of Lowell, her daughter Huyen Ngo of Peabody, and her daughter Nga Nguyen and her husband Vinh of Danvers; her grandchildren Quang, Jennifer, Kellie, Jessica, Adam, Melissa, Joshua, Alyson, Emma, Benjamin, Noah, and Lincoln (whom she had a hand in raising); her brothers Nguyen Van Nho and Nguyen Van Si from California, her sisters Nguyen Thi Bui and Nguyen Thi Soi from Louisiana, her brothers Nguyen Van Thien, Nguyen Van Su, and Nguyen Van Bao, predeceased.
