Betty Lou (Mullinax) Morin age 69 wife of the late Ludger J. "Tony" Morin with whom she shared more than 25 years of marriage, died unexpectedly at home Tuesday afternoon.

She was born in Greenville, SC, the daughter of the late Grover and Octavia Mallinax. Once she completed her education Mr. Morin moved to Quincy where her sister Elizabeth was residing and had later resided in both Lynn and Amesbury. A former Eucharistic minister for St. Joseph's Church, Lynn she loved all kinds of crafts including knitting, crochet and quilting. She and her late husband had enjoyed many happy summers on Sebago and Long Lake in Maine with their boat and trailer. Most of all she always loved being with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Morin is survived by a daughter Veronica Anne Prudente of Mansfield, MA; four grandchildren Bryan, Kevin, Jason and Megan. One of seven children, she was the sister of Harold, Charles, W.C (Warren Charles) Paul and Pete Mullinax and Elizabeth Moore and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 10:30 A.M. from the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St (cor of North St) Salem to be followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. in St. James Church, 161 Federal St, Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visitation will be on Saturday morning before the funeral from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30A.M. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
