June 6, 1955 – August 22, 2019
Salem – Beth Ann Cappuccio, aged 64, passed away on August 22, 2019 at the Advinia Care Facility. Beth was born on June 6, 1955 in Johnstown, PA to the late George and Mary Louise (Susko) Dubovecky.
After high school, Beth went on to study journalism at Boston University. Once she graduated she became a journalist for the Lynn Sunday Post, based in Lynn, MA. Beth also worked as a press secretary for the former state representative Jeffery Hayward. Later in life, Beth worked for a time as a waitress at In a Pig's Eye restaurant, in Salem. Beyond her affinity for words, Beth had a love of plants, and had an amazing green thumb.
Beth is survived by her brother Paul Dubovecky and his wife, Judy; her brother John Dubovecky and his wife Marianne; her sister Georgene Dubovecky; and her brother William Dubovecky all of Vinco, PA. Beth is also survived by her nephew Jeffrey Dubovecky and his fiancé Julie, and his children Haley and Joshua, of Pittsburgh, PA; her niece Jill and her husband Michael Lutz, and their son Owen, of North Carolina; her nephew Michael Dubovecky and his wife Cheryl and their children Jason and Courtney, of Indiana; and her nephew Matthew Dubovecky and his wife Sharon and their children Emma, Olivia and Lucas, of Nicktown, PA. Beth was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Luca and Anna (Tendrey) Dubovecky, her maternal grandparents Paul and Helen (Kulio) Susko, her brother George L. "Larry" Dubovecky, and her sister-in-law Nancy (Bosser) Dubovecky.
Friends are invited to a celebration of Beth's life at the Polish Legion of American Veterans, 9 Daniels St., Salem, MA on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 from 1-4 PM. Also, family and friends are invited to attend a Divine Funeral Liturgy on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church, Conemaugh, PA, by the Rev. Dr. Robert F. Oravetz. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Johnstown, PA.
