Beth A. Bugler-Steedman, 63, of Salem passed away on the evening of Saturday December 22, 2018 peacefully at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers after a lengthy illness surrounded by her loving family. Beth was born in 1955 and was the daughter of the late Phillip A.C. Bugler and Marguerite (Brophy) of Danvers and Marblehead.
She was married to David B. Steedman Sr. and was the stepmother to 3 children, 10 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Beth also leaves behind her four brothers Philip Jr. and his wife Diane of Peabody, Brian and his wife Wendy of Danvers, Kevin and his wife Jane of Marblehead, and Andrew and his wife Denise of Georgetown. She also leaves behind 17 nieces and nephews and 4 great-grand nephews.
Beth is a lifelong resident of the North Shore as she lived in Danvers, Marblehead, Beverly, and Salem. She graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School in 1973 and continued her education at Marion Court in Swampscott, where she graduated in 1975. After graduation, she was employed by Salem Superior Court in the Probation department as their Administrative Assistant before she retired after 35 years of service.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be held on Friday December 28, 2018 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Murphy Funeral Home, located at 85 Federal St. Salem. Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 29, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church, located at 221 Cabot St, Beverly, MA 01915. Following will be the burial at Puritan Lawn Cemetery, located at 185 Lake St, Peabody, MA 01960.In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St Danvers or to the Discalced Carmelite Nuns, 15 Mount Carmel Rd.
