Barbara Brett Sanders of Brooksby Village, Peabody, died on February 11 at age 92 after a brief illness. She was the daughter of Agnes Baldwin Brett and George Monroe Brett, and was born in New York City on March 5, 1920. Barbara graduated from Wellesley College in 1942. She was a longtime resident of Marblehead, and was the widow of Thomas Sanders Jr, her husband of 40 years who predeceased her in 1994. She leaves behind a beloved family, her daughters Jane Sanders of Lee, N.H., and Martha Sanders of Topsfield; her son-in-law Mark Liptak, and grandsons Cary Liptak and Alexander Liptak of Topsfield.
