Barbara E. Candeas, age 68, of Waltham, formerly of Salem died Tuesday September 28, 2010 at home in Waltham.
Born in Salem the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Madeline (Kingston) Candeas, she is survived by a sister Janice Coughlin and her husband William Coughlin of Wilmington, DE and their children Sharon, Kathleen and William and several grand nieces and nephews. Her family is very grateful for her nurturing and comforting friends, caregivers and nurses at her group home.
She was predeceased by a brother Joseph E. Candeas, Jr.
Visitation will be on Saturday morning from 9:00 A.M to 10:00 A.M in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., (cor of North St, Rte 114 exit 25A from rte 128) Salem to be followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M. in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 260 North St on the Salem Peabody line. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem.
