Barbara A. Farrell, age 75, of Danvers, died Saturday afternoon in the Kaplan Family Hospice Saturday afternoon.
Born in Dorchester the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Helen E. (Kelly) Farrell, she was raised and educated in Milton. Following her graduation from Matignon High School in the class of 1950, Miss Farrell was employed by the Bank of New England as a supervisor of their Master Card division for 27 years until her retirement.
An avid Red Sox fan, she enjoyed gardening and playing tennis.
She is survived by a sister Helen E. Farrell of North Quincy and a longtime friend Grace M. Puleo of Danvers, with whom she resided.
She was predeceased by two brothers Robert E. and Rev. Joseph A. Farrell.
