Antonia "Vicky" Victoria Szczuka, 92, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.  She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Stanley, with whom she shared 64 years of marriage and her son, Stanley Thomas.

Vicky was born June 8, 1926, in Peabody, the daughter of the late Rosalie (Doraziwsko) and Michael Krisko.  She grew up in a family of nine brothers and sisters, and graduated from Peabody High School in 1944.  She began her career as a cork board operator and retired from Verizon in 1994 as a Group Manager.

Shortly after retirement, Vicky and Stan sold their home in Newburyport and retired to Jensen Beach, Florida where Vicky felt as if she'd found paradise.  She enjoyed morning coffee and gorgeous sunsets with her dearest friends, Sonia and Jim Ormiston.  During retirement, they enjoyed traveling, especially their many summers in Vancouver, British Columbia and Salem.   Vicky spent her final months living in Andover with her daughter Susan and her loving family.

Vicky was loved immensely and impacted the lives of everyone who was lucky enough to have known her.   She opened up her home and heart to many family and friends over the years.  Those that met her quickly adored her and were thoroughly impressed with her zest for life.  Vicky enjoyed feeding her friends and families and providing words of wisdom.  Her last advice was to "love each other".

Vicky is survived by her children, Michael and his wife Glenys of Salem; William and his wife Terrie of Jacksonville, FL; James of Huntersville, NC; Susan and her husband Gary of Andover; her grandchildren, Christopher, David, and Robin Szczuka, Lance and Yavanna Scott, and Meagan and Matthew Wolfe ; eight great grandchildren; her brothers Peter, Henry and Thomas, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
