Beverly – Anthony M. Alvino, age 68 years, husband of Carol A. (Field) Alvino, died early Thursday morning at the Massachusetts General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.  Born in Revere, he was the son of the late Robert A. Alvino, Sr and the late Mary Ann (Procopio) Alvino.

Mr. Alvino was raised in Revere and graduated from Revere High School.  He continued his education and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Science from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy.  He was employed with CVS Pharmacy for over 33 years until his retirement in 2014.  He was an avid Patriots Fan.  He enjoyed playing cards and scrabble and enjoyed watching Jeopardy.

Surviving him in addition to his loving wife are his children, T.J. Alvino and his wife Kristine of Medway, Paula Potvin and her husband Benjamin of Salem and Michelle L'Italien and her husband Peter of Salem, his grandchildren Molly, Gracelyn, Brent, Jack, Jamison, Cole, his brother Robert A. Alvino, Jr of Revere and his father in law and mother in law Robert and Claire (Lavoie) Field.

His Funeral Service will be held at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St., corner of North St., Salem on Wednesday December 20, 2017 at 10:00 A.M.  Visiting hours at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.  In lieu of  flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Anthony Alvino's memory to the MGH Development Office, 125 Nashua St, Suite 540, Boston, MA  02114 with the check made payable to MGH Neuro ICU Fund.  For additional information or on line guest book please call 978-744-0497 or visit www.MurphyFuneralHome.com .
