Anne Elizabeth Penni passed away on Sunday October 22, 2023, at North Shore Medical Center – Salem Hospital, unexpectedly.  Anne will be remembered for her love and support for her family and everyone she met.

Anne is survived by her three children, her son Matthew Cox and his wife Janet Cox, her daughter Elizabeth Cox and her partner Rick Cory and her daughter Linda Ferris and her husband Gary Ferris.  Anne was loved by four grandchildren, Michelle, Jessica, Tim and Allison and Anne was blessed with six great grandchildren, Hunter, Matthew, Charlotte, Shea, Quinn and Haddie.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the compassionate staff at Salem Hospital.

Anne's visiting hours will be held at the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St, Salem on Friday, October 27, 2023, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am with her funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m.  Following her service, internment will take place at Waterside Cemetery, Marblehead.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Penni Oncology Fund at Salem Hospital, 81 Highland Ave, Salem, MA  01970.
