Anne Marie Bergstrom, 57, of Salem, passed away early Monday morning at her residence.

Born In Everett, daughter of Margaret C. (Whiting) Taddeo of Georgetown and the late Carl Bergstrom, she was raised In Beverly. Anne attended St. Mary's School and graduated from Beverly High School In the class of 1972.

Anne was a Certified Home Health Aid for Marblehead VNA, the VNA Care Network and later the North Shore PRN, until becoming ill. Anne was Co-Captain, with her sister Patricia, for the "Team of Hope" with the North Shore Cancer Walk for 20 years. She had also volunteered at the Kaplin Family Hospice House in Danvers, Meals on Wheels and Salem Youth Soccer, where she coached the "Killer Bees" that went undefeated for 2 years in a row.

Anne was very active with the Mac Park Association and was an avid Red Sox Fan. She rescued and adopted 2 dogs, "Momo" amd "Emmy" and 2 cats, "Jillian" and "Mimi". But most especially, Anne loved her family and always enjoyed the annual family Christmas Party.

In addition to her mother, Anne is survived by her two sons, Joshua Joseph Talbot of Salem; Christopher Joseph Talbot and his wife Lauren of Wakefield; her brothers and sisters, Margaret Vaccaro and her husband Giuseppe Vaccaro, Jr. of Beverly; Joan Rollins and her husband George of Groveland; Patricia Bonfonti and her husband Richard of Gloucester; a sister In law, Barbara Bergstrom of Peabody; two grandchildren, Amber and Charlotte and Charlotte's mother Debby Espinola. Anne was also the mother of the late Charles Shields, Jr. and sister of the late Mary M. Geary and Carl F. Bergstrom.

Anne's funeral will be held on Friday at 9:15 a.m. from the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St, (cor of North St) Salem to be followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. James Church, Federal St., Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the North Shore Cancer Walk Team of Hope, c/o NSMC Development Fund, 81 Highland Ave., Salem, MA 01970.
