Anna "Anne" Couillard was born on January 25, 1932 to John J. O'Donnell and Anna E. (Collins).

She passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on Monday, February 6th, 2023 at Adviniacare Nursing Home in Salem, surrounded by her family.

Born in Salem, she was married to Robert "Bob" A. Couillard in 1955 and enjoyed 55 blessed years of marriage until his passing in December of 2010. They moved back into her home with her father in Salem after they were married to raise their family and never left.  Anna stayed in the same home in Salem her entire life. Anna enjoyed spending time with her family and her love and sense of humor made those occasions even more special to her family. She and Bob enjoyed attending functions at the Beverly Elks where they made many life-long friends. As her mobility began to wain she enjoyed keeping in touch with friends and relatives over long conversations on the phone. She always enjoyed reading, puzzles, scratch tickets and outings of any kind.  She loved watching the Catholic Channel and game shows.

Anna was a graduate of St. James School in Salem and worked at Sylvania until she met and married Bob and started their big family.

Anna was a devout Catholic and a parishioner at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish in Peabody for many years. Her love and faith in God, was always very important and kept her strong throughout her life.

Anna is survived by her children, Robert A Couillard Jr. of Salem, MA, Thomas M. Couillard and his wife Kathleen of Bradford, MA, Linda M. Raymond and her husband Mark of Salem, MA, Anthony J. Couillard and his wife Maureen of Salem, MA, Eileen M. Pagliarulo and her husband Mark of Salem, MA, Anne Marie Couillard of North Conway, NH, and Denise M. Harrington and her husband Edward of Sanford, ME. Her grandchildren, Cody J. Raymond, Joshua M. Raymond, Jordyn M. Harrington, Taylor M. Harrington, Edward P. Harrington III and Kelly N. Pagliarulo. Her great granddaughter Lauren A. Raymond.

In addition to her husband Robert, Anna is predeceased by her daughter, Marie A. Couillard, her brothers, John J. O'Donnell Jr and his wife Annemarie, Joseph E. O'Donnell and his wife Alice and daughter-in-law Mary Ann Couillard.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday February 10, 2023 beginning at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, located at 1 Margin St, Peabody, MA 01960.
