Ann (Krlic) Williamson, RN, age 79 of Marblehead, died Tuesday morning March 2, 2010 in Massachusetts General Hospital.
She was born, raised and educated in Wilkes-Barre, PA the daughter of the late Milan and Eva (Kotlarz) Djuro. Mrs. Williamson was trained at the Kings County (NY) Hospital School of Nursing where she was later employed. Later, while living in Hartford, CT, Mrs. Williamson became active with the Salvation Army and helped to establish their current shelter. More recently she has lived in Marblehead.
A loving mother, she is survived by two children Paul Williamson and his wife Kristin of Livingston, MT and Amanda "Mandy" Williamson of Marblehead, two brothers, Paul Krlic of Paramus, NJ and George Krlic of Wilkes-Barre, PA; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by five sisters Margaret Zematoski, Elizabeth Rembish, Mildred Wargo, Helen Krlic and Mary Krlic.
Her funeral will be held on Friday March 5, 2010 at 1:00P.M. in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St (cor of North ST) Salem. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visitation will be immediately before the funeral Friday from 12 Noon to 1:00 P.M. Interment will be in Star of the Sea Cemetery, Marblehead.
