Andrew J. Savy

Andrew Joseph Savy, 60, of Beverly, Massachusetts, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026.

Born November 27, 1965, in Beverly, Andrew was the beloved son of Joseph and Nancy Ellen (Famico) Savy. A lifelong resident of Beverly, he built both his life and career in the community he proudly called home.

Andrew was a self-employed Plumber who dedicated his career to serving homeowners and businesses throughout the North Shore and across Massachusetts. He was known for his strong work ethic, skilled craftsmanship, and commitment to his customers.

He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Nancy Ellen (Famico) Savy of Beverly; his daughter, Julie (Block) Cooper and her husband, Michael Cooper, and his granddaughter, Hazel May Cooper.

He is also survived by his sister, Connie (Savy) Poulsen and her husband, Christopher Poulsen, his nieces, Kathryn Poulsen and Christopher Nehl, Diana Poulsen Muller and her husband, Stephen Muller, and Abigail (Poulsen) Gault and her husband, Matthew Gault. He also leaves behind his beloved grandnieces and grandnephews, Hunter, Ava, Olivia, and Bodie, as well as many extended family members and dear friends.

Andrew took great pride in his work as a Master Plumber and found genuine satisfaction in serving his customers. He had a keen mind for mathematics and a lifelong passion for history, often with a history book close at hand. Andrew was also a devoted supporter of the New England Free Jacks, proudly collecting team apparel, memorabilia, and anything that celebrated the club he so enthusiastically followed. Throughout the years, Andrew found comfort and companionship in his beloved Yorkshire Terriers, Tyson, Dyno, and Bobo.

Andrew lived for many years with bipolar disorder, an illness that shaped much of his life's journey. Andrew's memory will be cherished by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His family hopes that he has now found the peace that often eluded him in life.
