Andrew W. "Bill" Jackman, Jr., age 65, of Beverly died Friday afternoon at the Golden Living Center, Gloucester.
Born in St. Petersburg, FL the son of the late Andrew W. and Barbara (Adams) Jackman, Sr. he was raised in Manchester by the Sea. Following his service to the United States Army during the Vietnam War Mr. Jackman settled in Beverly where he has resided most of his adult life. For many years he worked in Security/Loss Prevention at the Burlington Coat Factory, Salem Hospital and Endicott College. He was a longtime member of the Beverly Elks.
Mr. Jackman is survived by four children, Andrew W. and his wife Joanne Jackman III, Crystal and her husband Michael Schumacher all of Bingham, ME, Doreen Jackman of Madison, ME and Charlene and her husband John Gagnon of Haverhill; a brother Charles T. Jackman of Watauga, TX; nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, and longtime friend Janet Bertolino of Gloucester.
His funeral services will be held on Wednesday evening at 7:00 P.M. in the Murphy Funeral Home, 85 Federal St. (cor of North St) Salem.
