Andrea L. (Arsenault) David, age 81, of Amesbury (formerly of Salem,) died suddenly Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport with her daughter by her side. She was the daughter of the late Arthur & Barbara (McBrien) Arsenault and had 2 brothers, Jean Arsenault of Hudson, NH., and the late Richard Arsenault of FL.

Andrea was born and raised in Salem. She graduated from Salem High School in 1958 and then married her husband, the late Robert W. David Sr. Together, they had five children and lovingly raised them in Salem as well, but sadly, she was widowed at the age of 34. Later in life, Andrea met the late Richard Pierce of Salem and they spent many happy years together. She worked for many years at Salem Hospital as a PCA and then retired from Shaughnessy Kaplan Rehab. Andrea enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She was well known around Salem by many neighbors, co-workers, friends, or even employees at her favorite restaurants or stores. She would always greet everyone with a smile. She could often be found running around town with her long-time best friend the late Shirley Luz of Peabody or roaming around the Salem Willows making sure the birds & squirrels were well fed.  Andrea lived her life by one of her favorite sayings, "Happiness is", and that's how she faced each day.

Andrea is joined in heaven by her husband, Robert W. David Sr, her son, Paul David, Richard Pierce and her son-in-law, Walter Tucker, Sr.

Andrea is survived by her daughter Barbara Tucker of Amesbury, her sons, Robert W. David Jr. of FL., Russell David and his wife Trish of FL., Edward David of Salem, 10 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, & 1 great-great-grandchild. Plus, she always had the love of many nieces, nephews, in-laws, extended family & friends from near and far. Such a large, loving network filled her with joy, and she appreciated everyone.
