Salem, MA – Alice (Gulesian) Welenc, age 97, passed away peacefully on the evening of July 17, 2018 at Grosvenor's Park Nursing Home in Salem.  Daughter of the late Selden and Isabele (Matheson) Gulesian, and wife of the late Stanley Welenc, Alice was born and raised in Beachmont, MA.  She graduated from Revere High School and worked for the United States Government during WWII.  After the war, she married Stanley and together they shared 53 years of marriage while living mostly in Salem, until his passing.  She also worked many years as a manicurist.

Alice is survived by: her son, Thomas Welenc and his wife Claire; her grandchildren, Lindsay Welenc and her wife Celena and Elizabeth Croteau and her husband Chris; her great-grandchildren, Isabelle Welenc and Vale Croteau; her niece Carol Mate and her husband Karl of Arizona; and her nephew Robert McCracken and his wife Debbie of Florida.
