She was born in Salem, Mass in 1924 and was the daughter of the late John and Agnes (Calder) Cronin. She was the wife of the late Henry Grenier with whom she shared 52 years of marriage.

She and her late husband Henry were avid boaters and could be seen most weekends with their family on their boat the 'Vee Gee' fishing or anchored at Misery Island to share their bounty with their boating friends. She had an uncanny knack for always catching the most fish. And she would let you know it!
